Reed Davis is a clinical nutritionist and researcher who spent eight years in charge of patient education in the Better Health & Wellness Center in Poway, CA. and built one of the most successful practices in the U.S. From his vast toolbox Reed tested over 11,000 people for bone density, hormone, digestion, detoxification, weight and fitness problems and a variety of chronic stress related disorders. Reed’s purpose is to teach others how to get to the root cause of health complaints instead of just treating symptoms. He works with top labs and physicians on thousands of cases each year and has keenly developed clinical skills and case management experience. Dr. William R. Bailey, D.O.
Medical Director

Our medical director is an osteopathic physician, board certified in family practice. He has over 20 years of experience in complementary medicine. Dr. Bailey has extensive experience with the proper use of functional lab testing, and provides ongoing support through recommending and reviewing insightful testing approaches, as well as providing guidance on diagnostic options and treatment protocols for unusual or difficult cases. His expertise and experience is directed towards optimizing self-care and the resultant opportunities for healing as well as identifying and treating medical conditions that hinder that goal. His medical training included a scholarship in clinical nutrition through the University of Missouri, and the physician’s acupuncture program at UCLA. His medical degree is from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He previously trained and practiced with Jonathan Wright, M.D. at a pioneering clinic for the use of functional lab testing.

Course Outline

• You’ll complete two personal lab tests including an adrenal stress profile and sex hormone, digestion and detoxification assessments - using BioHealth Diagnostics #205 and #101 test kits. The first step to helping our clients is to understand and assess ourselves.
• You’ll have a personal consultation with your FDN Mentor about your test results and protocol. These sessions may be recorded for repeated listening and as an example of how to deliver a results and recommendations consultation.
• You’ll love the 12 Webinar Sessions with complete notes and files. Each session is full of practical “what to do” and “how to do it” training. Reed’s exciting approach and training is motivational and attention getting. These are archived and available to you any time, day or night

6 Steps to Becoming a Successful FDN Provider

Step 1 Register and Get Tested

• The course fee is still only $1495.00 for the Advanced Online FDN Certification Course - includes all FDN modules with over 50 additional training sessions
• After your registration is confirmed you will:
  • Complete two lab tests - one saliva and one urine. You pay half-price lab fees direct to lab ($150 not included in registration fee)
  • We’ll ship your personal test kits to you on the day that you register.
  • You will also receive a practitioner account with BioHealth Diagnostics Laboratory and test kits for your patient/clients
• Complete the New Client Intake Forms exclusive to FDN to help interpret each case. These are also included in course materials along with customized case management forms, liability waivers, and everything Reed developed over the years - no need to invent your own. All patient education materials also provided.
• Submit saliva and urine specimens to the lab (remember, you pay only half price lab fees if you register now)
• Lab forwards test results to Reed who will send you a complete interpretive package like with any normal client. FDN Mentors will go over the results with you by phone or Skype.
• You’ll see and hear, like any client, the logic of our test result interpretations and the reasoning for the recommended protocol
• You may decide to follow the recommended protocol at your discretion; in any case, you will receive a wholesale account for all products.

Step 2: Get Your Learn On!

Step 3: Complete a Mid-term Review and Mid-term Exam

• You must complete the online midterm examination (multiple choice and T/F) to gain access to Modules 6 - 10

Step 4: Complete a Practical Exercise with your FDN Mentor

• You’ll role play in a practical exercise with a “mock up” client played by your FDN Mentor
• We provide you with test results, patient history and all FDN Intake information on a client
• You’ll prepare your results & recommendations report and make an appointment with your “Client”
• Your FDN Mentor assists you as needed in the preparation and then role plays during the consultation
• You’ll receive a complete report with consultation tips and how to improve your FDN delivery

Step 5: Complete two test kits each with two of your own patients or clients

• Once you pass the midterm exam and participate in the practical exercise, you’ll be ready to consult with your own patients about test results
• You’ll be ready to use FDN testing to help clients on a causal level with most hormonal, immune, digestive, and detoxification related problems
• Upon registering for the FDN Course, the lab sends you test kits to be distributed to your patients as you wish
• The FDN Certification Course requires you to dispense both the #205 and #101 test kits to two of your own clients
• You will receive your patient’s test results directly from the lab as a new lab client
• Your FDN Mentor will coach you through each of your first two clients, helping you develop the correct interpretation and protocols
• After you have completed the FDN Certification Course, the lab will provide you any additional interpretive assistance

Step 6: Complete FDN Final Exam and start practicing FDN

• Once you have completed all ten FDN Modules plus; your own personal testing, a practical exercise, the mid-term exam, two test kits with two of your own patients, and passed the FDN Final Exam, you will have completed the FDN Certification Course
• Our mission is to educate as many people as possible about Functional Diagnostic Nutrition® so that they, in turn, may educate others
• You will be fully deputized to go out in public and teach your patients and clients about an empowering health care model
